KATE DANIELS WORLD - ILONA ANDREWS

Who I requested: Owen and Troy from the Wilmington Years books.

Why I love this canon and these characters: I love the magic system, the world-building, and the amazing character development almost all characters go through. I love the snark, the found family aspects, and I'm deeply invested in all canon relationships. It's one of those series where I've actually yelled at characters for making hard choices I disagreed with, and yet loved them even more for it. I'm completely caught up with all novellas, the final book, both the Hugh Spin-off and Blood Heir, and the Wilmington Years.

I really liked the banter between these two, and then accidentally gave myself a lot of Tank/Healer feelings, coupled with a bunch of Big Herbivore/Small Predator horny thoughts, and here I am, in small pairing hell. I'm also really intrigued by Troy being both a Healer AND a render in training, because the discrepancy between having sworn an oath to aid everyone while at the same time being a specialized killer monster is delicious to me. Coupled with Owen's whole relaxed attitude about everything (while also meditating to not fall into rage), I feel like there's a lot that could be explored there.

PROMPTS

All the angry discussions lead to all the angry fucking, lead to accidentally maybe having feelings. Or THANK FUCK YOU'RE ALIVE frantic fucking on the battlefield with accidental love confessions.
They argue and they spar it out and the sexual tension builds and builds until they can't anymore.
Some case leads to them having to rough it out in nature and they kind of grow closer while surviving in the (magical) wilderness (hiking! Rockclimbing! Forest survival, huddling for warmth, hunting food, honest conversations by the fireside, oh no there is only one tent/bedroll in the cave).
Pack dynamics and courting rituals! I don't think we've ever seen Clan Heavy or Herbivore courting rituals. How would those even look? But also all the traditional food related stuff, combined with that Wilmington Pack (mostly safe-house) life. Maybe one of them catches feelings and starts a wooing campaign. Or maybe they've had a casual fucking thing, but something happens that makes one of them decide to go for it for real.
I'm into allllll the animalistic sex and urges you can think of. Scenting, biting, knotting, claiming, comeplay, bloodplay. Partially shifting during sex, sex in half-form or fully shifted, one or both parties. If you want to go all in on the furry version of these characters, I'm here for it.
I'm really interested in how different their species and Clan's are, and how that might translate in courting rituals, or just them understanding each other's thinking patterns and body language, and the misunderstandings that might come from that.
Owen getting hurt and Troy having to heal him hands on, while struggling with his attraction/feelings. Troy having a hard time with Owen always putting himself at risk and throwing himself head first into danger.
Both of them getting a little out of control during a magic flare.
Fic that explores why they chose to leave Atlanta for Wilmington, how they feel about all the Pack politics and mayhem, why they chose to become renders.
Crack fic where one or both of them catches feelings and ends up going to Kate for relationship advise. Kate Daniels, Pack Matchmaker is one of my favorite tropes :)

KINDEREN VAN MOEDER AARDE - THEA BECKMAN

Who I requested: Elvira and Tjalf

What I love about the canon: 80s Feminist Environmentalist Post-Apocalyptic sci-fi set in Greenland, what's not to love? Seriously these are the first sci-fi books I ever read, and I've loved them since. I love the straight up "men have screwed up ruling for 1000s of years, we're giving ALL positions of power to women". I love that this mentality gets questioned during the novels, and balanced out a bit, but that the base still remains. I love all the hiking through nature, and waging war with the elements and nature. I love that the love-interest is the first two books is an Inuit woman, who ROCKS, both as a captain, and later as a guerilla war strategist . I love that she's still rocking as a great-grandmother in book 3. I love all the female friendships (the sisters in book 3 are so awesome).

30 years after first reading them I still read them on occasion, and I still love this series to death.

What I love about them:

Fuck, these two. Honestly, I still speed read book 3 just to get to the scene where he's all, "Elvira don't leave, I can't miss your kindness". Argh. I just really love how kindness is the most coveted and appreciated trait in these books. And I always found it so frustrating that we never got see them later in life, because culture clash!!

PROMPTS

Anything, seriously. Since this is a Dutch series that's barely been translated, feel free to write in Dutch (I'm from Belgium) if you'd find that easier, but English is definitely okay as well.

Fic that explores the world-building and expands on the plot. All the rebuilding after the third invasion. How has Thule fundamentally changed? How does the world change? Do the political agreements stick?
Or fic more focused on the country and nature. Hikes in the wild, romantic dates, family dates, just exploring Thule. I really like the traveling parts of these books, and now that Elvira is actually a part of the country, I'd love to see Thule through her eyes now she's no longer constantly fearing for her life.
Tjalf and Elvira building a life together, including all the culture clashes. Elvira might have fallen in love with Thule and Tjalf, they're both very different people from very different cultures and social classes. How do they deal with this? What will they do in life? Where will they live? Just, Elvira settling in in Thulean culture.
All the romance. Thulean wooing must be a thing, and I always was super bummed that it was mostly glossed over in the books. They have that glorious moment at the end of book three, but argh, let there be more romancing.
All the first time fic, especially first times that aren't fraught but a little clumsy and nice. Outdoors sex, because hell yeah nature. Pegging because YES, and also Tjalf seems like someone who'd ask for that himself. I think it'd be fun for Elvira to wrap her head around that and then fully embrace it :) I'm really into the idea of Elvira letting the restraints of Baden go, and exploring her sexuality and finding freedom in that.

WOLFWALKER SERIES - TARA K. HARPER

Who I requested: Condari Rahnbada neKeatus Brithanas and Noriana Ember maDione, from the last book in the series, Wolf in Night

What I love about the fandom and characters:
I love the nature and the adventures in the wild these books have. The rock-climbing, the traveling on dnu, the wildness of the environment. I ADORE the wolfwalking, telepathic animals were my thing as a teenager, and I never got over it when it came to these books. I love all the different counties and cultures and the fact that there's nine moons and that those mess up the tides. I love that these books have always been about family and found families. I love the extremely convoluted politics, and that everybody is always playing at something. I love the hinted at history, and that there are actual aliens on this planet, who screw things up.

I love Nori's loyalty to her family, both by blood and by choice, and how she struggles now that she needs to calculate Rishte into her loyalties. I love her struggle with the alien inside her head, and the expectations put upon her. She's many things for many people, but I always felt the book set her up for finding out who she wanted to be for herself. I love her relationship with her brother as well, supportive siblings are my weakness.

I love how Condari is built out of contradictions. Rich and spoiled and comfortable, yet totally willing to do his own dirty work, or hiking through the woods. I like how he's obviously interested in Nori, and while pursuing her rather determinately, still always respects her boundaries.

I love, love, love the sexual tension between these two. Their backgrounds are so different, and their goals only seldom truly line up, but the tension and attraction and respect is so palpable between them.

This book so obviously set things up for Things to happen, and then it stopped. I WANT MORE. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

PROMPTS

I prefer Canon Setting fic for these two, but feel free to diverge all you want!

Building directly on the open ending of the book: Will Nori eventually give Condari his shirt back? Will Condari manage to hire Nori as a scout? The politics of this series are so complicated and convoluted, I'd love something that ran with that, and made sense of everything that was set-up in the Wolf in Night Book.
The sexual tension between these two is so palpable, at some point in their future together it is so going to break. Possibly at the worst possible moment. Ideally somewhere in the wilderness, so they can roll through the leaves, pin each other against trees and destroy some bushes in the process. Blood and violence optional.
Another possible scenario for the UST to break would be sparring turning into sex. Have them playfight, train, be all sweaty and filled with adrenaline, and BOOM Condari's nice clothes get shredded. Twice, because obviously Nori was wearing his shirt.
Obviously the telepathic wolves are canon, but I would love an AU where either one of them is some kind of animal shifter. Cue even more animalistic desires. You can go all out here, empathy, telepathy, throw in soul bonds. The whole plethora of shifter romance tropes are awesome, like Heats, Knotting, Scent Marking, Claiming Bites etc.
They're both from different countries, so I'm totally here for a political marriage, where they're both convinced the other is only doing it for the political motivations, and all the angst and pining and messy things that come with that.
Related: the world has a lot of weird and complicated social structures, so I would like to read about them getting married (either established relationship, or arranged marriage for political reasons), and that involving Ritual Sex. There's the whole canon thing of having stones grafted on the breastbones, so I feel like Public Ritual Sex wouldn't be that far off.
Adventures on the road. These books are filled with rock-climbing, fighting raiders, fighting nature, lots of exciting traveling. I would love for more of that, and them having to work together to survive in the wilderness. Rishte being fond of Hunter would be extra cherries on top.
I've always really liked that Rishte sees Nori's companions as her pack, and how his perspective of rank and place and function is really different from Nori's. I like how he sees Condari too, and I'm totally into the idea that the telepathic bond influences how Nori sees the people in her life.
Related to above, I love the idea that under influence of the wolf bond with Rishte, or maybe under influence of her alien connection, Nori and Condari have mate bonded. Only they didn't realize until they split up and now they need to work with this, even though they are not officially political allies.

CANON SPECIFIC DNWs

No AUs outside of the Canon setting. Canon Divergences, or AUs in the same setting very welcome. Ex: shifters, a/b/o, vampires, soulmates etc... all super cool, as long as it's on the same alien world, preferably with the telepathic wolves included.
