I’ve written the following letter as a sort of buffet so you can pick and select whatever catches your fancy and write something we’ll both enjoy.

I’m a firm believer in Optional Details are Optional, so as long as you respect my few DNWs it’s going to be great!

Some of my requests might be a longer than others, rest assured that’s not because I love one fandom more than another, it’s just that I’ve requested some before and could copy paste, and for other fandoms this is the first time I dared request them. Unfortunately life really sucked the last week, and there weren’t much spoons left for letter writing.

GENERAL DNW’S

First things first, I’m from Belgium, so please no references, even implied or offhand, to anything terrorism related, civilians dying, or bombs. Thank you.

If it happens to characters in canon, I can deal with it happening to them in fic. The same goes for violence really, I can deal with everything as long as it at the same intensity level of canon.

I love fic in which a relationship is explored, and don’t mind if that’s the main plot. I can deal with angst, but I’d like to have some kind of happy resolution at the end, even if it’s Happy For Now.

EXCESS BAGGAGE

Who I requested: Emily/Vincent,

What I love about the canon: This is the movie that got me into Benicio Del Toro. Who was the object of my most severe teenage crush ever. Other girls had posters of Leonardo DiCaprio and that guy from the Backstreet Boys, I had printed out black and white pictures from the internet, on A4 paper, in the worst resolution ever. I think they were on my walls for 5 years. And honestly, we’re almost 20 years later, and I’m still into him.

Anyway, back to the movie, I loved it then, I love it now, it’s the kind of romantic movie with just enough depth to the characters to really get me going. Plus you know, road trip shenanigans. I love Emily and her dramatics and her slyness, I love Vincent and his wtf how did I end up here woes, and I absolutely love them together.

Prompts:

What happened after? Like, Emily is still a spoilt girl at heart, what does she actually want to do with her life, now that she’s taken distance from her father.
Does Vincent manage to quit the car-theft business, and start something legit, or do they live a life of crime together? Emily trying to help steal a car, fucking it up, and then trying to fix it.
How do they work when they aren’t on the run, like, their backgrounds are so different, I imagine them having heaps of conflicts due to their different upbringings. How do they solve those, how is the make-up sex?
I really, really love Uncle Ray. Give me all the family dinners, Vincent and Ray growing on each other (or not, but tolerating one another for Emily’s sake).
I always figured Emily as pretty sexually adventurous, and Vincent being less so, but willing to try things because he likes her so much. Could be pegging, or anything else that catches your fancy and isn’t on my DNWs. I have a thing for people trying out new things, especially if the girl is the one taking the lead.
I’ve got a headcanon that each year they do a roadtrip vacation to celebrate how they met. Things tend to go wrong, there’s always at least one moment where someone takes off with the car alone, and sometimes they don’t actually get very far. Basically, all the shenanigans on the road.

CRY BABY (1990)

Who I requested: Ramona Rickettes, Belvedere Rickettes

I nominated everyone that is in the tagset though, so if my prompts don’t really inspire you and you’d rather write about someone else from the tagset, absolutely be my guest. I love this movie to pieces and love everyone in it equally. I just had more prompt ideas for these two.

What I love about the canon: This is probably THE movie from my childhood. I know if by heart. I know it so well, that I burned through one VHS and when we got a new one I noticed they had translated the subtitles differently. I know all the songs by heart, and still often sing them in the shower. It’s Johnny Depps hottest role by far, and I will fight you about that. I love it so much. All the characters are just so ridiculously over the top. All the relationships are just so awesome. And the music is so great. I love Ramona and Belvedere specifically because they are the parental figures, and just, they’re so wacko and over the top, and still so badass and awesome. I also love how Ramona is this shotgun wielding warrior woman, and Uncle Belvedere is just this fragile looking teensy guy that rolls with the punches and is pretty much hyper for the entire movie.

Prompts:

As I said above, I’m fine with anything about anyone from the tagset.

How did Ramona and Belvedere meet, fall in love, and get together? They’re very non-stereotypical people, and I love that about them. How does a guy like Belvedere woo a woman like Ramona? And keep her interest?
The both of them raised Cry Baby and Pepper, so anything about that would be amazing, since I imagine them to be really unconventional guardians, especially because they don’t have any kids of their own.
I also really like that they’re the only parental figures who seem to genuinely care for their kids as they are, and obviously play a pretty big part in the lives of the entire Cry Baby Gang. So anything with them and Hatchett-Face, Milton, Wanda or Allison, especially if it’s them giving advise, since I imagine any advise they give to be technically awful on all accounts, but it would probably still work out in movieverse
Ramona and Belvedere are obviously poor, but I love how they still spare no expense to get Pepper and Cry-Baby gifts. I’d love some insight in how they deal with this, how they went through some awful things while the kids were growing up, just to get them what they needed.
Ramona and Belvedere obviously don’t shy away from a little crime here and there, I’d love to read some romantic shenanigans while committing petty crimes to get by.
Date night with Ramona and Belvedere, particularly their probably wild and inhibited sex-life. I love the size difference between them, am pretty sure Ramona and Belvedere would be totally into pegging, and there’s definitely some bondage and whips in their arsenal as well.

KING ARTHUR (2004)

Who I requested: Bors/Dagonet/Vanora

What I love about canon: I really love the whole Sarmatian Auxiliary to the Roman army angle of King Arthur. 15 years of fighting in a war that is not yours, in a country that isn’t yours, for a country that is not yours. I love the easy friendship between all the knights, but also how very different they look upon their time in Britain. So much drama and fucked-upness right there.

And the there’s this moment relatively early in the movie, when Vanora sings, and Bors and Dagonet share a look, and every time I get fucking emotional about it.

And just, they just want to go home, but the Romans fuck them over, and then Dagonet sacrifices himself and I drown in tears.

I have a mighty need for the three of them to LIVE happily ever after. Fuck, they’d be hot, and awesome and glorious together.

I love the obvious affection Bors feels for both Vanora and Dagonet, I love how Dagonet is this mountain of silent, but deep feelings, and I love how Vanora is possibly the only sensible person in that whole castle.

Prompts:

I’d seriously love an Everybody Lives Canon Divergence, or a fic set before the movie. I’d rather avoid a fic set during the movie, because I’d rather not deal with Dagonet dying. DAGONET LIVES!!!

I have a theory that obviously Bors’ 12 children are at least 50% strays Dagonet picked up. I’d love a slice of life type fic, where the three (try to) find an escape from the daily chaos of raising 12 children to get laid. Extra kudos if there’s a couple of awkward walk-ins and some failed attempts because sudden interruption. Sex in the outdoors seems like one possible solution to this problem.
I did love all the fighting scenes a lot, and angsty fic when someone gets wounded, and the other two comfort them and each other would be delicious. Without the angst I’d also love Post-Battle victory sex, Thank God We’re Alive sex and Dammit, Looking at you fight makes me really horny sex. Could also be Post-Training sex, because I imagine Vanora to be an interested spectator whenever Bors and Dagonet spar. I’m convinced they’d have competitions between them to have the honor of eating Vanora out that evening.
I really like seduction fic, so a story of how two of them seduce the third would be totally my jam. The Romancing and Seduction of one Silent Stoic Soldier called Dagonet, by means of Stray Children, Foul Language and Excellent Sex, a novel by Vanora, with annotations by Bors, would be glorious.
I’d love a Soulbond AU, or an Animal Shifter AU, or both. Especially if there’d be cultural differences between the Britons and Sarmatians in how was dealth with this.
I love the physicality of this canon, there’s all the fighting of course, but these three are also so very affectuous with each other, I like to think that carries over to their sex-life. All the manhandling, rolling around, struggling for being on top. I like to think Vanora makes up for her lack of physical strength (in comparison) with the strength of her personality.
I’d really like to know more about Vanora in general. The possibilities are all so intriguing. What we know is that she’s kind and caring and raising 11 kids. Since she’s relatively young, I always assume a couple of those at least are adopted. She sings about Home and it’s implied she’s singing about Sarmatia, but since we don’t see any girls being displaced by the Romans, I think that she’s the daughter of a former Sarmatian knight with a British woman. Which I love because Culture Clash! And fuck it, a woman raising that many kids deserves two men to help her.
There’s also Bors idea of settling in Britain, which I love, because again, culture clash, and also Bors is just such a soldier, the idea of him trying his hand at farming cracks me up. But I also imagine them all going back to Sarmatia, and like trying to settle in a life there that they lost a long time ago, because when you spent such a formative part of your youth away from your culture, it’s bound to feel alien. Speaking of Sarmatia, apparently they were known for having Warrior Women, so a fic where Vanora’s kind but bossy nature is what attracts them to her would be lovely.
This can all be established relationship, or them getting together, either with something already being there between two of them (Bors/Vanora, or Bors/Dagonet) and the third one balancing it all out. The Romancing and Seduction of one Silent Stoic Soldier called Dagonet, by means of Stray Children, Foul Language and Excellent Sex, a novel by Vanora, with annotations by Bors, would be excellent.
A soulbond AU could be magnificent for these three, especially if the cultural differences between the three (with Bors and Dagonet from different Sarmatian tribes, and Vanora as a British woman) make for conflicts and misunderstandings. It’s be super cool if the Sarmatian tattoo practice could be incorporated in this.

SILVERADO (1986)

Who I requested: Emmett/Paden

Why I love the canon: If people mention Western or the Wild West, this is the movie I think of. I grew up on this movie, I must have watched it at least 50 times, probably more. Me and my brothers can still sing half of the score by head. I’ve recently fallen back in love with it, and it has been amazing to experience it as an adult. Mostly because I still loved it, but for various reasons. Except the hot men on horses doing awesome things, that factor hasn’t changed a bit. Although my favorite character is probably Stella, the Emmett/Paden relationship is what gets my fannish feelings flowing these days. It’s all in the subtle smiles and nods, there’s this immediate easiness between them that I love, and so much understanding of what drives them. And at least 90% of it is in body-language. Plus their awkward way of giving each other the green light to flirt with Hannah will always remain hilarious to me.

Prompts:

The movie has such an open ending. Emmett drives off into the sunset, and Paden is Sheriff of Silverado, how do their paths cross again? Is it still easy between them, or is it somewhat strained because they still aren’t that great at actual dealing with their feelings?
Speaking of not dealing with feelings, I wouldn’t mind fic about them having secret thrysts during Silverado, and just not dealing with the emotional part of any of it, until they’re actually parted.
Emmett, professional wanderer, traveling in and out of Paden’s bed through the years could also be amazing. Especially because it wouldn’t be easy to put down roots together in any case, period homophobia and everything.
I would honestly love a Pat Garrett/Billy The Kid type of situation, where Paden is hired to deal with Emmett, who has inadvertently pissed of the wrong people once more. I’m fine with Paden crossing over to Emmetts side, and leaving together in a dust cloud, preferable after dramatic yet understated declarations of love, or, and this is my ONE Character Death exception, with them both dieing together, still loving each other, still understanding each other, just accidentally at a different side of the conflict. The mutual respect and love and understanding is important with this one though, to compensate for them dieing.
Basically I’d read anything that brings these two together again.

As always, I’m definitely interested in some Cowboy Smut as well.
Sneaking around for quickies here and there, always with the tension of being caught. In contrast leisurely, relaxed, taking-your time sex while they’re in the middle of nowhere would also be lovely.
Seriously, sex in the outdoors is one of my biggest kinks, and the New Mexican vastness is pretty appealing to me.
If they weren’t boning during the movie, I’m pretty sure that at some point in their friendship there’s just a combustion of Unresolved Sexual Tension. Since they’re both pretty quiet and calm people, I find that very intriguing, especially of how they would deal with the aftermath.
Body Worship, especially of the scars I’m sure they’ve both amassed by now.

TWO GUYS A GIRL AND A PIZZA PLACE (TV)

Who I requested: Michael Bergen/Irene

What I love about the canon: This is my nostalgia feel good relationship. Like, I loved them so much together, and was always kind of sad how the show got canceled before they got in a good place again. Because argh, they were so awesome and good for one another. I loved how their craziness connected and just worked together. I loved how they found each others quirks hot and loved each other for them, not despite them. I loved how they both became better people for the other.

They’re one of those couples I occasionally think about, check AO3, and then am super disappointed that there’s little to no fic for them. It’s been years since I saw an episode, and I’m still so invested.

They both deserve happiness and joy and fun.

I really don’t care for Pete, so I’m fine with him being offscreen.

Prompts:

Anything Post-Canon. They had the pregnancy scare and how Berg dealt with that, and just, how to they go on from there? I’d really like to read how they go from where they were then to being entirely completely okay again.
My favorite Berg and Irene movent is probably when they’re painting Berg’s toe-nails. I love how he’s not afraid to try out things, how he doesn’t entirely conform to gender norms, and how he can totally admit he likes things like that. Also, I just really like it as a moment of physical intimacy that isn’t necessarily sex related. So any kind of date that involves body care in what would be perceived as traditionally feminine.
In a similar vein, Berg in panties. Can definitely be sex related.
Berg and Irene moving in together seems like a recipe for both disaster, shenanigans, and tons of relationship development. I personally thing it would work really well, but that they’d also have to get used to quirks and things they really didn’t expect. Especially because neither seems to have lived together with a significant other ever.
The sexual adventures of Berg and Irene, two people who are willing to try anything once, and have really vivid imaginations. Possibly featuring: pegging, roleplay of all kinds and sizes, and lots and lots of toys.

WOLF IN NIGHT - TARA K. HARPER

Who I requested: Condari Rahnbada neKeatus Brithanas/Noriana Ember maDion ,

What I love about the canon: I love the nature and the adventures in the wild these books have. The rockclimbing, the traveling on dnu, the wildness of the environment. I ADORE the wolfwalking, telepathic animals were my thing as a teenager, and I never got over it when it came to these books.

I love all the different counties and cultures and the fact that there’s nine moons and that those mess up the tides. I love that these books have always been about family and found families. I love the extremely convoluted politics, and that everybody is always playing at something. I love the hinted at history, and that there are actual aliens on this planet, who screw things up.

I love, love, love the sexual tension between these two. Their backgrounds are so different, and their goals only seldom truly line up, but the tension and attraction and respect is so palpatable between them. This book so obviously set things up for Things to happen, and then it stopped. I WANT MORE. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Prompts:

Anything between Nori and her parents, how does Dion react now she knows that Nori is a wolfwalker? How does Rishte react to the rest of Nori’s family? How does he adapt to her actual life when she's not traveling?
Will Nori eventually give Condari his shirt back? Will Condari manage to hire Nori as a scout? The politics of this series are so complicated and convoluted, I’d love something that ran with that, and made sense of everything that was set-up in the Wolf in Night Book.
The sexual tension between these two is so palpatable, at some point in their future together it is so going to break. Possibly at the worst possibly moment. Ideally somewhere in the wilderness, so they can roll through the leaves, pin each other against trees and destroy some bushes in the process.
Obviously the telepathic wolves are canon, but I wouldn’t mind an AU where either one of them is some kind of animal shifter. Cue even more animalistic desires. Non-Human Genitalia only make things more interesting, so Heats, Knotting, Scent Marking, Claiming Bites and other things can all be part of this.
The world has a lot of weird and complicated social structures, so I would like to read about them getting married (either established relationship, or arranged marriage for political reasons), and that involving Ritual Sex. There’s the whole canon thing of having stones grafted on the breastbones, so I feel like Public Ritual Sex wouldn’t be that far off.
Rishte ‘accidentally’ connecting Nori and Condari telepathically while they’re fantasizing about each other, which only adds to their sexual tension. I really like Condari’s idea of forming a pack of their own, but navigating that and managing some privacy for sex seems like an impossible task.
Another possible scenario for the UST to break would be sparring turning into sex. Have them playfight, train, be all sweaty and filled with adrenaline, and BOOM Condari’s nice clothes get shredded. Twice, because obviously Nori was wearing his shirt.
As part of the political intrigue going on they totally have to go undercover as a couple. Because people are spying on them/public sex is part of the culture they have to make it really convincing.
